Climb Fit Macquarie
Indoor climbing at Climb Fit, located in Macquarie Park, offers multiple areas to explore. The first visit was an amazing experience, especially for the kids who were so engrossed that they didn’t want to leave.
During holidays, when you’re not travelling, parents need to find various activities to keep kids occupied. The best way to keep them away from iPads is by engaging them in activities that burn energy. Especially for boys, if you don’t burn their energy, they’ll burn yours!
The entire facility is quite spacious. Staff provided a brief introduction, highlighting safety concerns and explaining how to use the equipment.
For younger kids, a parent needs to stay below for supervision and learn how to use the ropes. The staff here are quite professional. The kids’ favourite part was the automatic timer. This requires no parental assistance, and fully automatic ascent and descent. Our kid spent about an hour on this alone.
Climbing is not just a good physical activity; throughout today’s process, we discovered it’s also a sport that encourages a child’s willpower. Facing fear and overcoming challenges to reach the destination. It also trains their thinking, observation, judgment, and execution abilities. Different routes in climbing require corresponding movements to pass, so each climb involves planning the route in their mind based on observed support points, enhancing their adaptability!
